Run the Ranches prides itself on unique trail runs (and distances!) through amazing ranches. The participating host sites have graciously allowed access to their best trails and welcome you to an exciting adventure through the back country of Grand County. Proceeds from the race series benefit Headwaters Trails Alliance.
HEADWATERS TRAILS ALLIANCE is a nonprofit advocacy organization for trails in scenic Grand County, Colorado. This looks like a cool series. I’d be interested in running it if there were actual distances listed for each race.

Will run the ranches take place in 2012 and if so how can C Lazy U Ranch get involved?

your races aren’t on the RunReg.com website? How does one register and what are the distance options of our races?

My wife and i really look fwd to these runs. We even have scheduled other air travel trips to visit family around the RR series. It’s often a good time of year to travel east to visit family.
That’s why we were so disappointed to hear the C Lazy U reneged/defaulted on their commitment. (Probably cuz they got a better offer AFTER they made the RR commitment)
We look fwd to the other 2 runs and in the future we will be sure to avoid any future plans that RR may book with C Lazy U. ie. we won’t make plans for a RR event at C Lazy U in 2013 and beyond. (Once bitten, twice shy)
Can’t trust them, and we could have made plans elsewhere that weekend.
p.s. great web site….

I ran Devil’s Thumb 3 mile yesterday and had a wonderful time! This was a true trail run with some good hills and I really preferred it to running on pavement. Supportive environment and gorgeous surroundings! A+
